One student at a time in a community of learners.
This is the Big Picture philosophy. There are two main parts to this:-
"One student at a time" implies that each student is treated as an individual and hence all learning should be personalised, based on the your own skills, experiences and interests. This includes your individualised learning plan and internship.
"in a community of learners" implies that you are supported by a learning community. People supporting your learning should include your Advisory teacher, your fellow students in your advisory group, your parents/caregivers, the other Big Picture teachers and your community/industry mentor.
Hence the survey is in three parts. In the first section the questions relate to the success of your individualised learning programme, the second section is about your Advisory and the third section is about how successfully the other people in your 'learning community' are supporting you.
